Sweet Peas

There's just something about sweet peas that I love ~ I think they are a gorgeous 'vintage' flower and are amazing - and for the first time ever I have successfully grown my own!  I've tried them in pots, I planted them at our old house without success and I truly expected them to fail this time around too...

But they didn't!  And today I got to pick my first 'crop'.

(Ok, far from a crop but I am still mighty proud).

They must be in the perfect spot, in much better soil and I can't help but check them daily and be amazed when a tendril does its curling around thing on the trellis!

(How does it KNOW to do that!)
