A Sweet Christening for Lucia Rose

One of our gorgeous customers, Amalia, sent us some photos of this amazing candy table she set up for her little niece's Christening ~ and believe it or not this was her first one!

Amalia chose a pink and green colour palette (one of my favourites), which was carried over from the candle used at the church ~ the candle had pink and green ribbon, with tulle that had little pink and green handmade flowers on it.

How adorable is the cake x

Delicious lollies from Goody Goody Gum Drops

Our glass pedestal with dome and candy box jars from Sweet Little Birdy looked gorgeous filled with delicious delights and these grass mats from Mon Tresor look amazing!

Cookies from Cookie Couture ~ we've used these guys before and they are awesome!

Apart from the stunning candy table guests also enjoyed lots of other yummy things - the kids dined on sausages and mini bread rolls on a blanket on the grass in picnic style, and the adults were served oysters, prawns, roast beef and pork and a variety of salads.  YUM!!!

Then as if that didn't sound good enough for dessert there was raspberry cheesecake, orange and lemon poppyseed cake, apple torte, chocolate mudcake with fresh cream, a few greek sweets ~ baklava and galaktoboureko ~ all washed down with a good cup of tea and gingerbread cookies!

I don't think I will never grow old of seeing the gorgeous Sambellina pink spot paper cups on candy and dessert bars.

Amalia says her favorite thing about the party was watching both the adults and the children look at the table in disbelief.  She said the compliments and questions kept coming ~ is it any wonder when a candy table looks this good!  Great job Amalia and congratulations on your Christening Day Lucia Rose x
